The first of our partners is President and Founding Partner of Aguilar, Portilla y Asociados, S.C., Executive and Board President and Founding Partner of Holding del Golfo S.A.P.I. de C.V., and its subsidiaries who control the rights of trademark use and technology transfer for three franchises in Southern Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Mexico City and Puebla. He is an advisor, executive board member, treasurer, and member of thr Investments Sub-Committee of Centro Mexicano de la Filantropía (CEMEFI), member of the Commissary of the Society of Jesus. Independent director of a Financial Group specialized in Bail Bonds, Surety and Insurance, member of its Executive Committee, its Audit Committee and Chairman of Corporate Practices.
Advisor of Grupo Diarios de América, which groups the 11 main newspapers of Latin America, an Agroindustrial Group and a footwear retail company.
Former Chairman of the Board of Directors of COVAF, S.A. from C.V. leading company that provides outsourcing solutions in financial asset management (valuation and accounting processes) to Investment Companies, Siefores, Asset Managers and Investment Trusts.
Former Director of Fincomún and Former President of its Corporate Practices Committee and member of its Audit Committee, Former President of the Global Association of KFC (IAYUMF) and Former President of the Association of Franchisees of KFC and PH of Mexico (AFRPM).

Cofounding Partner
He occupies the position of Director General at Probursa Casa de Bolsa. Since 1991 he is a founding partner of Aguilar Portilla y Asociados, S.C. He is President of the Board of Agros, S.A. de C.V., Chairman of the corporate law Committee of Grupo Mexicano de Desarrollo, member of the Board of Directors of Grupo Mexicano de Desarrollo, Grupo Holding del Golfo, Grupo Vasconia e Imasa and Club de Golf Malinalco.
Partners and Associates
Managing Partner
He started his professional career as Manager of corporate services at Holding del Golfo, S.A. de C.V. In 1996 he joined Aguilar, Portilla y Asociados as a Senior Analyst and since then he has specialized in the development of economic valuations of companies engaged in the manufacturing industry, real estate, trade and services.
Among them are companies in the poultry, paper, and publishing industries, the bottling sector, producers of polystyrene for construction plates and packaging, industrial parks, construction, street furniture, factoring services, Quick Service Restaurants, car agencies, educational institutions, among others. He has a Bachelor’s degree in financial management from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and holds a Masters in business economics awarded by the same institution. He has taken part in several Private Enterprise Appraisal courses at the American Society of Appraisers and Riskmathics. He is currently the managing partner of the firm.
MFO Director Partner
She is part of the team of Aguilar, Portilla y Asociados, S.C since June 1998. She worked for the multinational company Dentsply Mexico, leading company in the manufacture and distribution of materials and medical equipment at the international level, supporting the actions of the Department of industrial relations of the company, mainly for the broadcasting of programs of continuous training.
She has a wide experience in the management of portfolios of corporate and personal risk management. She has a Bachelor’s degree in the medical area and a Bachelor’s and Master’s in History. She has extensive experience in coordinating the relationship with Master Franchises, franchisees and suppliers both nationally and internationally; had been Manager of the AFRPM Association of franchisees of KFC and PH at the national level for 20 years. She is a partner of the firm. She has coordinated projects related to the area of franchises, publishing, health, micro-finance, trade, education and management, among others. She acts as project leader. From September of 2013 she is partner-Director of APA’s Family Office, after several years of experience working with family-owned businesses and participate in training as the Directors College at Rock Center for Corporate Governance of Stanford University.
Associate
She has been a part of the team since 2011. She worked for several Public Accountants firms and a Financial Group in the areas of corporate finance, investment banking and auditing. It is in this areas that she gained most of her experience. Later she worked with firms specialized in investment banking, administrative areas and investment funds. She is experienced in financial counseling, credit attainment for companies, enterprise appraisals and other types of counseling. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting by Universidad Iberoamericana, A.C.
Associate
He is a graduate of the Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana and has experience in the area of investment banking and wealth management, as well as in the business security and intelligence sector.
